By accessing or using Elocent ("Service", "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform.

Elocent is a testimonial and social proof platform that allows businesses ("Customers") to collect video, photo, and text reviews from their end users ("Reviewers"), and display them via embeddable widgets on their websites.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Not create accounts for automated or bot-like activity
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or fabricated testimonials
• Collect reviews through deceptive or coercive means
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
• Resell or sublicense access to the platform without written consent
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without prior notice.

Elocent offers Free, Pro, and Pro+ subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are displayed in USD unless a local currency is shown.

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

6. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content (reviews, videos, photos, text) submitted to the platform. By submitting content, you grant Elocent a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The Elocent platform, brand, logo, and software are the exclusive property of Elocent and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without explicit written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully to understand our data practices.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Elocent does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elocent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Elocent in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; failing that, through binding arbitration or a competent court of jurisdiction.
